Terrain Saddleback has enjoyed a much-needed renaissance the past few years as new owners have breathed new life into it. Additional terrain, greatly expanded snowmaking, a new fixed-grip quad, and some intelligent real estate development have smoothed some of Saddleback's rough edges.

Comments: At the time of this report the temperature at the base was 9 degrees with light overcast skies. We have had 1 to 2 inches of new snow over night. Grooming operations took place overnight and most major trails were groomed. The primary surface is machine groomed packed powder. Today we will have 63 trails & glades open with skiing & riding for all abilities. Snowmaking is underway on Royal Tiger. That trail will remain closed until it is finished and groomed. Additional trails may open at the ski patrols discretion. Four lifts will operate from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
